In a sea of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, this one stands out for being well in check. It starts with a typical New Zealand gooseberry nose, then into a sweet attack with an interesting passionfruit mid-palate. Pretty refreshing and I would go back for a second glass, which is unusual in New Zealand SB.

This was a whim buy and actually turned out pretty well. Typical Marlborough grapefruit primary, limestone stone secondary. Liked this one.
