1955 Volnay Clos des Chenes negociant Droux-Van Malderen. Ruby in color with orange hue. Full blown sous bois, mature dark cherry. Ripe sweet fruit, fully resolved tannins, decent length. Surprisingly clean and pure. Greatly exceeded my expectations.
