Medium lemon color. Pronounced aromas of melon ripe mango dairy cream butterscotch. On the palate a touch of herbal rosemary mango. Lees and tropical fruit.

Well made, just a little richer than I prefer.

Slight reduction when first opened faded away and also a slight oxidation, medium acid, Honey suckle, white flowers, lemon oil, yellow apples, green pear, under ripe pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, green Pluto, apricot, they must have used some new oak as I am getting baking spices, burnt caramel and butter scotch and a faint Vernor’s ginger ale.

A chard bowing left and right. To one side we get the new French oak loyalists. To the left there are the freshhhhhh mongers. All in all you get wicked alcohol levels, pretty tears, flavors rife with ripe apricot and stewed lemon all held together with mild but impactful oak tannins. I'd drink again.

Heavier than I normally lean to. More oak. But nice flavors.

Just a great wine. Smells of juicy yellow fruits and those intensely aromatic white flowers that bloom in the spring. A fair amount of new French oak delivers big time, with pie spices and woodsy accents complimenting (rather than smothering) the fruit. Alcohol just right. One of the best California Chardonnays I’ve ever had.

Mineral with a little neutral oak blended. Wonderful representation of the grape in SB.
