Dr. L Single Vineyard Graacher Himmelreich Kabinett Mosel Riesling

Well chilled, one of the best aperitif wines for summer

The modestly titled Kingdom of Heaven. Probably my pick of the Loosen kabinetts in '12. Bright peachiness and plenty of mineral interest.

I adore this wine. Sweet and light, like wildflower honey. Dances beautifully on your tongue and has a light and floral finish.

Riesling and hot pot are an unlikely pair but they compliment each other well. I’d prefer a drier Riesling to cut through the spice. White peach, lychee notes

My favorite of the Riesling night wine club Rieslings. Sweet, bubbly.

Delicious dessert wine.

Bouquet is kind of non existent. Slight pear and limestone quality.

Solid effervescence, acidity, sweetness, fruit, and mouthfeel.

Most importantly though, missing the bone dry fresh blades of grass quality that I usually love in Riesling.

This is an expression for the masses to check a box, not discover and gush.

Delicious juicy peach, lime, honeysuckle with good acidity and a zippiness in the mouth. Aromas of tennis ball tube or squash ball on the nose which I love!

Not too sweet. Got a really strong fruity aromas and on the palate as well.
