Quite acceptable qualitätswein. Nothing to make me stand up and shout out for, but perfectly between the categories of "is this a crisp and minerally joy? or a dessert syrup waiting to be boiled to its essence? It had that syrup factor but the petulance of the bubbles and acid say otherwise. Lots of peach, some ripe melon, a hint of lemon and maybe cucumber plus slate--y soil. That's what I get from this. Would love to taste some other Loosen examples and see what's what.

Sweet, but not cloyingly so. Pears and lines in the nose, slightly effervescent on the palate, poached green apple maybe? Low ABV, so a solid choice for a picnic or late afternoon. Dr. Loosen did well for the price point.

8.5% Sunday sipper! Love this wine, light, fresh, smooth. Goes with anything...especially grilled asparagus and hummus! Beautiful wine!
