Way too sweet for a kabinett Riesling. Tastes more like a halb troken spatlese. I would have rated it a half point higher if it was labeled a spatlese. It is a complicated mess where they tried to blend the sweetness of a spatlese with the crispness of a kabinett. I lived in Germany in the heart of Riesling country for over two years and this is not a very good representation of what German Rieslings offer. Most Rieslings are a far better value with this being priced in the low $20s.

Pear, lime, lime stone and a bit of the distinctive Mosel petrol. Overall a bit toned down loosen in my opinion.

Nice balance. Very smooth, moderate finesse. Looks sexy in the glass. Fruit forward with mild, muted petrol. Nice length and finish. Great for relaxed evening with or without food.
