Good warm night wine with smoked gouda, summer sausage, crackers. Little bit of a bite at the end and a nice all around finish.

Wow! Pretty cherry bomb color subtle cherry and raspberry flavors, not as dry as expected, or promised on-label but balanced by nice sense of mild astringency; really clear we are not in Provence here, would've knocked my socks off if I'd been wearing socks! Mary Beth loved this. Will share with Monica Wood and Dan Abbott tomorrow if there's any left with red snapper, peach balsamic and cilantro salsa: note to self: buy peach balsamico downtown.
