After some rough natural wines today this was a nice reprieve and back to the basics. Easy drinking with good structure and complimentary flavors for the T-bone we had for dinner. Earthy forest notes on the nose and some blackberry and vanilla. Good structure and acidity, fine on its own but great with food. Need to get up to finger lakes soon to try some more.

Didn’t expect to like this so much. Medium body, soft tannins. We like drier, but in spite of that liked the taste of this. Good for “porch sipping” or with food, but definitely prefer a bolder wine with beef.
