Deep lemon color with aromas of sweet fruit, honey and petrol notes. On the off-dry palate flavors ripe fruits, honey and slight citrus tang. Medium+ finish ending with ripe fruit and sweet notes.

Medium amber color with pronounced aromas of ripe and dried stone fruits. On the palate flavors of peach, dried apricots and honey marmalade. Full-bodied, high acidity, long glorious finish ending with sweet candied fruit. Outstanding. Tasting Sample.

I tried this over a year ago and had another opportunity to try the ‘06 again. Nice Golden color with concentrated fruit aromas of citrus and stone fruits, with ever so present gentle petrol notes. Off dry, plenty of fruit, stone, peach, and citrus, great balance with fruit, sugar and acidity. Lingering finish, elegant! Still tasting great.

Had a chance to taste 2013 & 2014 side by side. Straw with stone fruit aromas and smoky herb and notes of petrol. Slightly off dry, big fruit flavors peach, juicy pear and some citrus, ok balance with fruit, sugar and acidity. Lingering finish ending with earthy mineral tones, nice, but I liked 2014 better. Tasting Sample.

Got my hands on an '06, leaning towards golden color with concentrated fruit aromas of citrus and stone fruits, and ever so present petrol notes. Off dry, bursting with fruit, peach, stone and citrus, great balance with fruit, sugar and acidity. Lingering finish, elegant!

Big nectarine on the nose. Lime, Myer's lemon, grapefruit, and a touch of apricot on the pallet. No petrol whatsoever. I'm going bone dry on my next one.

One of the bajillion wines that was used to practice blind tasting at the level one course. It was delicious, searing acidity, slate-y and beautifully sweet. Also, since it totally matters, yes, I called it correctly.
