Amphora Vidiano

Raisins, Sherry on the nose, but dry

2017 Vidiano grapes made in clay amphora, definitely an orange wine! Starts out with a late harvest sweet front palate and then snaps dry. Would be killer with spicy Thai food. Funny part in Crete is I had to fight to order the bottle in a restaurant, the staff declared the wine no good - local Cretans are not up to speed.
