Drinking well now but I strongly recommend holding this if you have multiple bottles or will power. The fruit is there without being over the top, but this is indeed a fruit forward wine that has a tremendous palate presence backed by essence of new oak and plenty of tannins. The acidity is moderate, definitely enough to support the fruit, but again, I'd like to see this one down the road. Nice wine for sure.

Pop and pour. A wondrous medium deep ruby red color. On the nose: beautiful...very aromatic with tart cherry, earth, wet forest floor, raspberry, spice, floral. Taste: smooth, juicy, rich, layered medium plus body wine with tart cherry, minerals, mandarin peel, black tea, and a peppery leather LONG finish. YUM...Donum West Slope never disappoints, especially with some age on it!!!

Bright red fruit - strawberry, rhubarb and smoky plum. Cedar. Love this vineyard. P.S. What does smoky plum taste like?

The latest vintage for this great winery is as wonderful as the previous vintages. Drink it now or cellar for later - it’s all good!!

A bowl of cherries and dried roses. Do you need anymore of a descriptor to drink it? @Shawn G. Rose gave me the inspiration to pull Donum.
