This was absolutely stunning. Pet-nat Chardonnay from Donkey & Goat - as good as any blanc du blanc from Champagne or Burgundy. Perfect fizz, creamy and round, with the faintest touch of sugar. Perfect pairing with scallops.

2023. Weird weather night (tornadoes and hail south of us, winter storms north), so we decided to stay in and just see what we had available. Ended up with a couple nice cheese and meat plates. This Pet Nat had been in the beer fridge since the holidays, and its waiting time was over. Aggressive and persistent bubbles that worked so well with the rich cheese and salty meats and olives. Not too complex, just refreshing.

I've been waiting to get my hands on this and I finally found a bottle in NYC. It was well worth the wait. Bright and fruity yet elegant and restrained. Just the right amount of fizz and yeast —and super well balanced. Pet Nat is slowly catching on and I can't wait for the next bottle.

Had this the first time with Jared Brandt. He was most happy with the quality of the bubbles. It’s pretty delicious and very light.

Lovely golden hue. Bottle is cool pop-top like an old-time soda. Aroma of honeydew melons and lime sorbets. Hint of celery? Sweet celery. Apple cider too. Flavors are unique. Crisp and very fresh. Has a filtered sweet ‘cider’ flavor without the sweetness. Essence of Martinelli’s? It’s fun and light. Prefect for a sunny day at the ocean.
