Opaque, brooding, silken. Clearly a fine wine, but not sure the QPR is there on this guy, since it is pricey. It does have character though. The right food pairing could make it sing... blistered and charred peppers and meats come to mind, or you could go the other way with smooth and rich like a demi glace or au jus dish. As I type this I realize this wine needs and deserves a big food pairing, and, if given one, it will not disappoint.
