Echezeaux Pinot Noir

Perfect wine! Nothing more to ask for...

Screw it! Or that’s had to unscrew it. Quarantine doldrums are sinking in. Also having to move out of my place tomorrow sucks a fat bag of as$h@les! Solid wine. Now after about 2 hours being open, really starting to wake up!

Dark in color, smoky nose, intense and layered Gevrey fruit, a little sauvage, a little oak (but not 200%), tannins a bit drying, good acids, some sous bois, a good quaff.

Fully mature now with no green notes whatsoever. Gorgeously muscled.

Notes de clou de girofles fruits rouges baies sauvages épicées se developpe sur du pruneau avec des notes camphrées deviens compote, bouche fine attaque En souplesse les fruits se développent en bouches fruit rouges baies sauvage épices moins présentes qu'au nez finale longue assez fraîche sur le fruit

Wish I could have tucked into this over a meal. Alas only a taste.

Very smooth for a wine of its age. Cloudy and dense in appearance but low tannic presence. An excellent wine to enjoy.
