Awkward, uneasy, uncomfortable mix of natural funkiness, modern oaky polish and very ripe but pure fruit. Reminiscent of many ambitious high-end California Pinot Noir’s that ultimately fail to deliver but it is better value than most. After 24 hours, develops the most magnificent aroma of forest floor, along with deeply pitched black-blue fruits and violet flowers, reminiscent of Nuits Saint George/Vosne Romanee. It shows the complete and enveloping sense of flavors and structures only the Burgundy is capable of.

Full and not too dry. Has a little bit, but not bitter. Grey aftertaste.
