Dominio Dostares Cumal Prieto Picudo Castilla y Leon 2005. Feeling a bit past prime. Color is ruby with some brick at the rim. Aromas are slightly oxidized. Smells a bit like aged Bordeaux, though the tannins are more drying. It was worth a shot to taste a Prieto Picudo made before the creation of the DO Tierra del Leon in 2007.
