Surprisingly deep ruby in color but while it didn’t resemble most Nebbiolo wines to the eye it was clearly there on nose and palate. Black cherry, red cherry, cranberry, plum, violet, rose, tar, leather, cedar, truffle, prune, dried cherry, eart and forest floor. Terrific balance of the opulent flavors with the high acidity and ripe tannin. This was terrific.

Single vineyard. Very tense and wound up. Massive tannins. Definitely needs more time but showing just a fraction of its potential depth and complexity.

Salmon colored edges in glass. What a nose! Tart cherry, mint, tea, tar, roses. Very tight( like very!) on initial opening and remained reticent! 4 hrs decanted and just started to reveal itself. All tart red fruit and menthol and unrelenting dry tannins…..I’d hold on opening for now.
