Plucky raspberry, cherry and roses race to earthy notes that wash into a clean oceanic blast. Served too cold, but opening nicely. Cherry goodness throughout, almost chalky. Doubt that is a Langhe soil type, but coming through in the mix. Tight and cran in the swirl, but that is symptomatic of the Nebbiolo. Odd, interesting creature. For me this is a good wine with food, with its strong finish it will complement spicy sauces and stand up to almost anything.
