Domaines Schlumberger
Les Princes Abbés Alsace Pinot Blanc
Classic straw and wet gravel infected notes on the nose. Pear/apple fruit. Intense flavors for a PB, with pretty good acids to keep it moving.

May 16th, 2016Someone else called pear skin on the finish and I can't disagree. The nose is definitely muted, as one can expect from this producer and this grape, but the palate does show glimpses of yellow apple fruit, albeit barely. It is a beautiful pale gold color with greenish tints and has that going for it though.
