Not too shabby, bought for the novelty of an Alsatian PN: no signs of age even tho ‘14, very dark ruby, opaque, with an absolutely stinky nose of soil & manure, barnyard, mushroom, desiccated leaves, tree bark. Had to walk away and come back for the really delightful cherry cola, cranberry, pomegranate - all kinds of red fruit. Lighter, delicate style, well-balanced if a bit stodgy. More ripe slightly tart red fruit on palate w/adequate finish. Think Sancerre PN. Interesting
