Opened shortly before dinner. The 2018 Macon-Solutré pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tropical and citrus fruits: Passion fruit, lemon meringue, almonds, brioche, yellow flowers, and hot rocks after a rain. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose with a dollop of butter. The finish is medium+ and the texture is creamy. Drink now through 2028.
