2014 - Ripe cranberry dominates the nose with strawberry and a hint of green melon. Some cracked pepper and slight pyrazinic edge. Bright acidity on the palate with more underripe, red fruit and some lovely smoke. Longer finish than expected with bitter, chocolate flavors and dried fig.

Baking spices, cherries and a little vanilla on the nose, palate is tight, a bit of earth, a little red fruit, then the nice round tannins take center stage. Finish has a nice lingering fruit note.

Mine(freeby!) breathed for 7 hours and the second time the nose was more vibrant with a gamie, cranberry candle vibe. The light, smooth walk-up goes wide with minuit fuzz. Bigger than expected. Great lil Roussillon
