Bleh. Too much acidity. Won't buy again.

2013 was a tough vintage in Bordeaux, Château Lafite Rothschild describes it as the worst vintage in over 30 years, though it is important to note that the whites generally fared better than the reds. Nevertheless, the estate has the pedigree to pull off a good wine in a challenging year, I was favorably impressed by this charming value Bordeaux Blanc. Sporting brisk acidity and pithy notes of white grapefruit rind and lime zest, star gazer lily fades into chalky minerality and a long, mouthwatering finish.

Nice, simple Tuesday night sipper. Smooth, refreshing, lower acid. Mostly Semillon. Good stuff for the price!

Finally, a white Bordeaux worth drinking! This one's got some creamy citrus character w 60% semillon--really keeps the excessively herbaceous/super high acid/cat pee austerity of the SB at bay.

Bold & elegant with citrus fruits. Finishes with minerality and lingering fruit.

For a white wine hater, this one sure was smooth and enjoyable. Found my new go-to when I'm not in the mood for red.
