Rich, smoky notes with ripe apple, nectarine and orange peel fruit. Palate is round and ripe but lacks definition in the orchard fruit. Perhaps it is in an awkward stage or a lackluster bottle. Pales in comparison to the 08 Gewurztraminer Rangen served at the same time.
