Been trying to find this wine and find what the hype was all about. Not sure if a style for everyone but but it was very fruit forward with velvet (rather than silky) tannins. Fresh acidity following black cherries, blackberries and flowers on the nose. Could use a couple more years in the cellar but already a crowd pleaser.

Dark berry, a bit of funk, and some heat on the nose. Austere berries, a jammy mid palate, and an earthy, lingering finish. All about burgundy.
