Montmains Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay

11 years old and in it's happy place. Lovely structure and balance and so full of life

This is a knockout. Great minerality and fine citrus and pear fruits. Excellent vintage. Still on the youthful side. Classic premier cru vineyard. Superb.

Fell a bit short and flat, although with healthy levels of acidity and apple/peach/pear trio on the palate.
