Very pure mineral Apple driven. Precise but with a little roundness on the palate so as to make it not quite as lasery as some vintages.

2011 Vintage. Lemon and minerals with good acidity, but more oak than expected.

Happy Mother’s Day (US Version)!!

Light gold color. Stick with me on the nose as my senses must be up. It contains subtle hints of salsa and cigarette butts with some lime and cream. Wine is well balanced with lovely texture. Classic Chablis. Medium finish. Not thrilled at the price, but can’t seem to put the glass down. I think there are similar wines for half the price, but this is growing on me. Prime drinking age.

2011 Vintage. 12.5% Alcohol. Flinty, lemony, plenty of acid to stand up to the Manchego cheese and crackers starter. Better as is warmed and aired.

Mature with lemon chiffon, fresh herbs and a touch of marzipan. Beautifully textured with a nice acid presence. Delightful and so good with sushi tonight
