Les Preuses Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

Good typicity of wet stone, lemon. Have had premoxed versions of this wine but this was in nice shape.

Not Premoxed! Acid matches the vintage so nonexistent, but pretty great.

A more restrained animal up against Aesthete, but provided for an interesting comparison. More rounded, with herbal and pepper notes with the peach, crushed stone, and white floral notes. A little more alcohol here, but the acidity is still very much carrying a youthful spirit.

Very clean and crisp with a lot of minerality. Very impressive

This is what great Chablis tastes like.

Show wine in Mpls. Needs time still I'd say. Excellent potential though!
