Syrah

I wish I saved this for a later date. It needs aging. Harsh at first; the alcohol is quite noticeable upon first tastes.

Came on quite hot and although after a few hours settled down a bit still too much alcohol on the taste

Smokey cocoa with white pepper on the nose with cedar. Herb, spice and dusty on the taste finishing with juicy tannins. Enjoyable now but suggest holding onto for a bit longer
