Last night's visit to Savigny via Cazadero. Fresh, vibrant and delicious at 27 years of age.

17+. Showing little sign of age in colour. Lovely nose, mature fruit. No farmyard. Perfect balance. Good length. Remarkable for a 22-year-old Cotes de Beaune. Sadly, my last bottle.

16.5. Still hanging in there, but beginning to lose fruit. Very pleasant now, but the previous bottle was better (must check my notes!).
