Victoria Shiraz Viognier

Light in body but intense perfume of strawberry and tart stone fruit. Delicate and pleasant, especially for the price.

Really lovely blend from Down Under, and to add to the loveliness, the label is also printed in Braille.

Not bad for Australian wine. Cherries, spice, maybe a little cooked tasting. Nice. A little reduction and a little syrupy, but good.

Rough around the edges, a bit gamey, stewed fruit. Have had better bottles of this wine in different vintage.

Interesting. Spicy Shiraz start with a tart almost chocolate like finish. It's different - which is good - but probably not something I'd buy again. Still a couple in the cellar so we'll let those age and see what that does to it.

It has a nice smell. The first sip wasn't settled. I let the wine breath a bit, it did taste better the second round.
