A great quality saint romain. The only complaint I have is the degree of new oak. It seemed just a bit over the top -- probably an amount appropriate for 1er Cru meursault -- overpowered something like saint romain. Also at 40 retail, I don't think I'd ever (ever!) spend my own money on this.

I tried this 10 hours after it was opened and it's one of those white burgundies that gets better with some air time.
Great texture from the soft minerals - limestone and marl?
Just enough acid to keep it fresh.
So approachable. This is the wine I would serve at events or weddings.
A Kermit Lynch find.
