Oyster shell salinity, sweet tart green apple, crunchy texture. Would that I could have an endless supply...

Very expressive... lots of minerality, acid driven, and surprisingly complex as it opened. Long finish.

Burgundy tasting at foreign cinema. Reallly great with seafood, there was excellent acidity and some earth flavors. Really liked it but was overshadowed by the Chardonnay.

This is truly excellent. In a great place now but I wouldn’t rush to drink up. A beautiful balance of lively freshness and complexity makes this an ideal aperitif or seafood pairing!

I’m such a fan of this guy. I think he’s making really beautiful wines that are the perfect balance of functional/traditional and meditative and thought provoking. The 2014s continue to slay. I think you could let them wander a year or two more, especially if you favor the opulence of a touch of oxidation, but I don’t think you’ll regret approaching these now, especially if you drink them slowly!

Very Solid. Looking forward to trying other vintages.

The second of four Pataille aligote sites. My initial notes from the rapid fire: underripe stone fruit nose, saltier on palate, less concentrated perhaps? Creaminess on second sip. This was the least favorite of the four, though certainly without fault and fully enjoyable on its own.

Tasty Bourgogne Aligote with racy acidity, melon, salinity, great on its own or with the Weitzmans. Thanks Alesha.
