Thought I would try something other than napa! Lol! Was not pricey but not bad! Fresh and bright flavor and more importantly not to sweet! Found this at Nico. Great new restaurant in the Gold Coast of Chicago. Across from our usual- Gibsons

Athiri really shows trough adding a nice green/herbal element.

Feeding on Greece. A good wine. Surprisingly not a good pairing w baked red snapper and tomato--Assyrtiko seemed to get more rubbing alcohol hot w tomato on palate?

Interesting wine. Lots of phenolics with balanced acidity that leads to a long finish. Green apple, bruised pear and stone fruit. I can see this pairing amazingly with seafood.

Pretty, kinda simple. Likeable all day though!

Bright and almost salty. Great minerality but balanced as hell. Solid food wine
