Pretty much consistent with my last notes - liked the 2013 Rossignol-Trapet Gevrey VV, even though it isn't the kind of Pinot profile I typically would. Black-fruited bouquet that appears a little sweeter than I remember, with an intriguing earthy Oolong tea-like note and hints of smoked meat. The palate's very smooth and supple at the moment, which gives it an impression of weightlessness even though the flavours are far from it. The saline, tangy core is particularly enjoyable, although the finish is somewhat short. Delicious with chicken tacos.

Not my kind of pinot, but I must admit I quite enjoyed this. Kinda like Denis Mortet Mes Cinq Terriors. Dark fruited and mineral inflected. The Rossignol Trapet 13' village stretches quite a bit of power, but is well-balanced by the saline backbone and just the right amount of acidity. Blackcurrant, dried florals, earthy, mocha, some spice. Quite supple, silky tannins. I would say - excellent value!

Dried cranberry, raspberry and plum on the nose, went dry and tart on the palate. Medium tannins, highly acidic, medium body yet lean texture.

Very good village-level. Floral and savory nose. Great intensity and silky mouthfeel. Has potential for further aging.
