So nice. I tried this 2017 vintage earlier in the year, and was a little worried that I got overzealous. Nah. I’m standing by my prior notes. Bright cherries and tea is what I wrote. It’s a very distinct fruit profile on the nose, that carries over very seamlessly into the palate and I simply find it lovely. I’ll note a little more overtly the tannins today, but man, I’ll be most curious to open this again in five years. I suspect it will only gain elegance.

Lovely in unexpected ways. Bright cherries and tea. Medium bodied. A long and subtly tannic finish.
