6th of 6 RSVs at this dinner. 3rd of 3 Arnoux RSVs. This was smoking good and it was clear the 2 2001s were the red wines of the night. Strong similarities between the 3 Arnoux wines and the Cathiard. The Cathiard holdings are adjacent to those of Arnoux. Intense core of focused sappy red fruits. Plenty of tannins and acidity that makes you salivate.

Blind. Another explosive nose of Vosne spice, black cherry, cherry liqueur, raspberry, game, floral. Intense concentration on the palate, sexy lush red fruits, earth and minerals, beautifully balanced, length went on forever. Incredible bottle.

Dark fruits, wonderful aromatics with classic Vosne Romanee spice, fresh flowers displaying power and finesse

Wow! I could smell this all night. Red and black cherry, very aromatic and spicy with violets and dried herbs. There is so much going on amazingly complex showing power and finesse, so intense and balanced. This is a great RSV!!!

Nose of slight cola and slight violet. Palate is very nice. Velvet in the front and vibrant body, though finish is slightly abrupt mouthful is quite nice. Slightly sweet with a things of sour.

Nice young rsv. Juicy red fruits reminded me of Sonoma coast pinots. Length and aromatics weren't quite there at this point
