Tawny color. Nice Vosne spice nose. Plus rhubarb and raspberry, dark soil, a little wood and some sois bois. Really nice in the mouth, coats the palate. Acidity has softened, and the fruit is still there but not as much as past bottles. Still in good shape but I’ll focus on drinking these up in the next few years.

Sep 2nd, 2022Tawny purple, dark and almost opaque. Exotic huge nose with notes of bright cherry fruit, rhubarb, Asian spice, sandalwood, tilled wet soil and some kind of herb. Rich in the mouth. Expands and coats the palate. Everything you want in a red burg. Nice to see a 96 move past that acidity and deliver all around pleasure.
