"Les Hautes Maizières" Vosne-Romanée Pinot Noir

Tasty but not sure it is with the price or the hype.

Red cherry color. Bright. Nice candied but smoky sweetness in the nose. Kirsch, stone, spice. Rich and round in the mouth. Enjoyable finish. An 05 village wine from a great year that is for the first time a little open and ready to drink. Give it air.

Needs a bit more time I think. Oak is not quite integrated yet. Will be a great effort in a few more years.

Bacon-bomb on the nose but quite refined on the palate! Definitely shows the warm year.

A yungun' but a good un'!

Drank at Lorong 40 Geylang. Very nice in the nose, floral bouquet, long finishes, extremely excellent drink

Elegant and floral. Bristol.

Seeming young but definitely in the good drinking window. Contrasted to early rating notes this appears in balance at this stage.

Tasty, but too young.
