Deep ruby with slight bricking in rim. Nose has genwrous oak, some red and blue berries and hint of alcohol. On palate wine grows on taste towards end but has slightly hollow midpalate and aftertaste is a tad diluted with heat from alcohol. Quite good Bourgogne Rouge that works better with food than on it's own

Drank this at the start of a trip thru Burgundy @ Cote Saint-Jacques. Two-star Michelin foie gras, skate, etc., with this 12.5 percent alcohol fruit forward wine: wonderful!!
