Beaune Les Cents Vignes 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Pop and pour, notes from 2 hrs open. On the nose: lovely plum.and blackberry, oak spice, soft cocoa powder, soft herbs in the background; very clearly delineated flavors. On the palate: fantastic acidity and density; spicy strawberry, and dark fruit...excellent tannin on the spicy finish. This is definitely structured to improve with some age, but it is already so drinkable now. Yum!
