1961, 1961 was a legendary vintage both in Bordeaux and Burgundy, and it is always a big excitement to try these 54 years old wines. This was was past its peak but still drinkable :-) Red Braun color, mature nose full of tobacco, rust, leather, earth, wet soil, dried dates and dry leaves, medium body, with light acidity and a very short finish. Worth the experience ;-) my score 75, drink up.
