2009 vintage. At Texture. Medium ruby hue - slightly muddy. Huge hit of raspberry, smoke, cinnamon and woodland flowers. Some chocolate and tan notes. On the palate, quite big - medium plus body. Decent acidity. Medium chewy tannins. Not a whole lot of finesse. More about power. Good finish. NB with air, coffee bean notes to the fore.
