Another pleasant surprise of a “simple” Burg that with some age is just a drinking pleasure with some beef roast. No need to ponder deeply, just a straight ahead vino.

Light bodied with nice black pepper and raspberry notes. Slightly earthy with hints of wet rocks. Low tannins and acidity.

So far the nose shows cherries and strawberry. The color is a soft ruby, deeper than some pinots. The flavours are tart with the cherry and strawberries balanced by a rather sharp acidity. The finish is medium to long and quite soft. I'm enjoying this wine.
