Not exactly Lapierre, but at ten bucks, who cares? Still tastes like a granite and strawberry sandwich, with more acid yip than I'd have thought. Decent with fuck-it-all weeknight pasta.

For our last experimental dinner of the season we did an ode to Julia Child. Six course tasting menu paired with 5 wines. I paired this with Coq Au Vin. 50 year old vines planted on a granite hill facing southwest. Husband and wife team, they make 500 cases of this wine, the 16 had strong black fruit, super ripe, with a lot of pepper, nice wine for $13.3 wholesale...fun to work with and people loved the pairing

Very young, shame to open but still showed nicely on Pnp: inky, opaque, delicate mostly red fruit, bit of black tinted fruit, but big time white pepper, smoke, leather & savory. Lush on palate, nice grip - maybe lacking some acidity, but all in all quite delicious

12/2020. Medium bodied Gamay. Clean fresh taste. Paired well with fish and pasta.

Tasty cherry and red fruits with plenty of acidity. Good with a juicy burger.

Bright cherrywood and leather on the nose, red plum and cherry on the palate, light acidity, nice finish.

Dark ruby color. Somewhat gamey nose with raspberry, black pepper, and hints of potting soil . On the palate, it’s medium bodied with plenty of wild berry fruit, little tannin, good acidity, and 14% alcohol. Made from 100% Gamay aged 6 to 8 months in neutral French oak demi-muid barrels with only 500 cases produced. This was a perfect Thanksgiving Day red! $25.
