i’m not sure if this bottle was affected by travel. as the wine was cloudy and showed a lack of delineation and clarity. while there still was some fruit there it was too muddled to be a truly enjoyable drink.

Slightly high toned nose. Whiff of VA and some separation between body and nose. Some soft developed raspberry and a gravelly gevrey-like character. Quite punchy on the nose- cloudy and dirty. I guessed a lot older than it is. Decent.

Birth year wine!! And it was actually great!! Still lively red fruits, Smokey cured meats, and dried rose petals. Pair with a slim Jim.
