Monsieur Gelin does great wine. This is one of them to a certain extent. Classical stuff with no excess. Really good red with balance and complexity. Not on par with the best bottles we got from Gelin but very good indeed.

Pretty enough nose: violet, forest floor, some minerality. The palate didn't have the finesse or acidity I would expect from a Monopole G-C.
