Thursday night and have opened the 2013 Domaine Philippe Charlopin Marsannay Les Echezots Pinot Noir.
The nose is beautifully expressive with red fruits - strawberry - cranberry - cherry - raspberry - herbaceous- cola - clove - a little mushroom and a nice minerality.
On the palate is a tangy cherry - cranberry - strawberry - cola - clove - herbaceous notes - vanilla - earthy and a bit of oak.
This is a beautiful ruby red with a smooth medium mouth feel, medium + acidity, and medium smooth tannins.
A very nice, easy, pleasurable wine. Looking forward to the weekend and this is a nice start. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🖒
