Croix d'Azal Gaillac Braucol

Excellent. Eucalyptus and earth on the nose. This went down way too easily. Great balance of acid, fruit, and alcohol.

Deliciously feral and grapey Gaillac. Paired well with Sausage Craft barbecue sausage and sage-seasoned white beans!

What are the odds... 2 different wines made with Braucol in the same week. This is really pretty, aromatic and super fresh. Thanks Cynthia Sexton for the selection!

Black cherry, cinnamon, and funky earth. Nice and offbeat

Fruit forward like a juicy Malbec, medium acidity as well. Red currants and black raspberries and maybe a touch of tobacco followed by white pepper and a huge wash of drying tannins.

Interesting and unusual. Mouthfeel of a Pinot noir or maybe even saumur but bold and tannic like a bigger wine. Tart black raspberry, red cherries, nutmeg/cinnamon, and white pepper with solid but not overbearing acidity. Really well-balanced—good stuff!

Blackberry, Menthol, briar, heavy on the tannin, with enough acidity to balance it all out. Went well with grilled steak.

Strong earthy nose when opened, which quickly dissipates. Unusual profile - minty, almost plastic notes, berries too. Extremely smooth on the palate, almost too smooth. Well made, easy to drink.

Very feral, if you ask me. Taste good but don't like the smell so much. But much better after it breathes a little!

Sold out everywhere! Bummer!
