Moderate bright ruby core with amber rim. Expressive nose of red berries, leather, dried rose petals, and slightly gamey tang. Though relatively light weight on the palate and somewhat lacking in concentration, it still offers lovely red fruits, fine grained tannins, and beautifully balanced acidity. This nice village level bottling is approachable now and likely still has a number of years at its peak. 13% ABV. $74.
